As a Naventure Host, you’ll be part of a team that keeps the campground and recreation area running smoothly while ensuring guests enjoy a safe, welcoming, and memorable visit. Hosts are the heart of the recreation experience, blending hospitality, teamwork, and care for the outdoors to create a positive visit for everyone.
Hosts work together to ensure the recreation area is in good working order and that all visitors are informed, prepared, and cared for. Primary responsibilities include customer service, gatehouse shifts, cleaning and restocking restroom facilities, light maintenance and landscaping, campsite cleanup, and helping foster a welcoming, positive atmosphere for both visitors and fellow team members.
This position requires the operation of a motorized vehicle (including golf carts) on federal property. In accordance with U.S. Forest Service and federal land use regulations, all vehicle operators must possess a valid, non-expired U.S. driver’s license.
Hosts are expected to work a minimum of three months with the possibility of extending for an additional six-months through the full season. Longer stays are always welcome. Hosts work 20–40 hours per week and are paid hourly. All team members are trained and scheduled for all shifts across the site, which may include indoor or outdoor work such as lawn care, machinery operation, tool use, and cleaning of bathrooms or cabins.
This posting is specifically for the Salt Springs Recreation Area in the Ocala National Forest, though Hosts may support other Naventure-managed facilities as needed.
Applications for Salt Springs are open through October. Candidates will be contacted for interviews starting in November, with start dates projected for mid to late December.

The Operations Manager oversees multiple campgrounds and day-use areas in the Ocala National Forest, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations while fostering a culture of exceptional guest service and environmental stewardship.
This position is preferred to live on-site at Salt Springs in their own RV. Full hookup RV site with all utilities is provided.

The Campground Manager(s) is a seasonal or year round position. We prefer that managers work a full 8 month season or longer (March through November). This position is responsible for all aspects of the day to day operations of the campground.
Primary responsibilities are hiring, training, scheduling, administrative, purchasing, leading by example, high level customer service and creating a high energy positive work environment. Some locations may require a manager to perform various housekeeping and grounds maintenance duties. We are seeking independent workers with a strong work ethic and thoughtful leadership.
Salaried Position with paid vacation time and benefits available.

Lifeguards must have a strong focus on risk management and communication. Applicants need to have reliable transportation, a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
Must be 18 years or older, and must have up-to-date lifeguard, first aid, and CPR certifications. Must be able to walk at least one-mile comfortably and lift about 50 lbs.
