Position: Site Supervisor
Reports To: Director of Operations
Job Type: Full-Time, Year-Round, Hourly (non-exempt)
Schedule: Up to 40+ hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
This position is required to live on-site in their own RV. Full hookup RV site with all utilities is provided.
Host site is contingent on employment and ends when employment is terminated
Approval for exceptions to on-site requirement is solely at the Company’s discretion.
Position Summary
The Site Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations and overall management of assigned sites. This includes supervising staff, ensuring excellent guest service, and maintaining safe, clean, and well-run facilities. The Supervisor works closely with staff, company leadership, and the U.S. Forest Service to uphold standards, lead by example, and create a positive team environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead by example, creating a positive, team-oriented culture.
Develop weekly schedules and ensure proper staffing coverage.
Provide regular supervision, mentorship, and performance feedback.
Support staff orientation, on-site and ongoing training.
Hold staff accountable to company policies, procedures, and standards.
Maintain open communication with administrative staff and attend meetings.
Oversee visitor services, including check-ins, fee collection, and campground bookings.
Respond promptly to phone, email, and in-person guest inquiries.
Handle incidents and emergencies according to protocols.
Collect, count, and deposit cash; ensure staff follow cash-handling procedures.
Verify payroll hours before submitting to accounting.
Monitor and manage inventory (cleaning supplies, firewood, retail items, etc.) and reorder as approved.
Report maintenance, facility, or equipment issues promptly.
Enforce campground rules; take corrective action when necessary (including evictions).
Act as primary point of contact for groups, cabin guests, and special-use events.
Ensure all areas are clean, safe, and ready for guest use.
Assist in updating operational processes and training materials.
Serve as a liaison with community partners and a responsible steward of public lands.
Work regular shifts and perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands
Work is performed primarily outdoors in variable weather conditions.
Requires mobility on uneven natural terrain; extensive walking, standing, bending, lifting, pushing/pulling light to heavy loads.
Ability to use hand tools, equipment, computers, and tablets.
Occasional travel between sites may be required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong leadership and people-management skills.
Ability to build and manage a diverse team.
Experience in campground, hospitality, or outdoor recreation management preferred.
Ability to work effectively with company staff, U.S. Forest Service, and the public.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to manage emergencies independently and calmly.
Proficiency with computers and software (e.g., Recreation.gov, Outlook, Office 365, cloud-based systems).
Commitment to following company procedures and continuously improving processes.
Minimum Requirements
At least 2 years of management or supervisory experience.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Valid driver’s license.
High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred).
Must own a hard-sided camper or RV suitable for long-term living (photo required).
Ability to maintain a safe, positive, and efficient workplace culture.
