Silver Glen Springs is a gem of the Ocala National Forest, known for its vibrant turquoise water, shaded picnic areas, and easy access to outdoor adventure. Popular for swimming, snorkeling, paddling, and hiking, the spring offers something for all ages in a setting that feels both peaceful and wild. With calm, shallow water and a scenic trail along the shores of Lake George, it’s the perfect place to cool off, spend time with family, and enjoy the beauty of Florida’s natural springs.

Vehicle Reservations are required for Day Use visitation at Silver Glen Springs from May 23 through September 7, 2026 on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays including Memorial Day (May 25), Juneteenth (June 19), Independence Day Holiday (July 3 - Observed), and Labor Day (September 7). Reservations are available for purchase 14 days prior to the desired visit date and can be purchased online.
