With ample space for launching and retrieval, this ramp serves as a reliable starting point for day trips, fishing excursions, and longer boating adventures.
Paddling Access + Rentals

Salt Springs Marina offers paddling access for kayaks and canoes to Salt Springs Run, a winding waterway that leads toward Lake George. This route is ideal for relaxed paddles, wildlife viewing, and immersive nature experiences along a shaded, spring-fed corridor. Paddlers can enjoy short outings near the marina or plan longer trips downstream while taking in the quiet beauty of the Ocala National Forest.
Marina Slips

The Salt Springs Marina provides marina slips for boaters seeking convenient water access to Salt Springs Run and onward to Lake George. Suitable for day use or extended stays, the slips offer a comfortable staging point for exploring the region by boat. Located near campground and recreation amenities, the marina supports an easy transition between time on the water and time enjoying the surrounding forest.

Salt Springs Marina, located along Salt Springs Run in the Ocala National Forest, provides convenient access to Lake George through a scenic, forested waterway. The marina features a double boat launch, paddling access for kayaks and canoes, and slips for short-term or extended stays, accommodating a variety of recreational users. Parking at Salt Springs Marina is limited to slip renters and those launching boats.
- Launch fees are $20 per vehicle & trailer
- Entry is first-come, first-served until the area reaches capacity
- Swimming, wading, and fishing are not permitted on-site
- This site is designated for day use only - accessible hours are 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. 365 days a year
Salt Springs Marina has 34 covered, in-water slips for rent - as available.
