Naventure Awarded Permit to Operate Salt Springs Recreation Area & Marina
OCALA NATIONAL FOREST
We’re pleased to share that Naventure has been awarded the special use permit to operate Salt Springs Recreation Area and Marina in the Ocala National Forest, effective January 1, 2026.
This opportunity reflects our continued partnership with the U.S. Forest Service and our shared commitment to providing exceptional recreation experiences and responsible stewardship of these remarkable public lands.
Salt Springs Recreation Area is one of the most popular destinations in the Ocala National Forest, known for its crystal-clear mineral spring that gives the area its name. Visitors enjoy swimming, snorkeling, fishing, boating, and camping beneath the mix of pines and palms that define this semi-tropical landscape. With a marina, spacious campsites—including full hookups for RVs—and direct access to nearby trails and waterways, Salt Springs offers an unforgettable way to experience Florida’s outdoors.
We look forward to welcoming guests and operating Salt Springs with the same dedication to service, sustainability, and care that guides all we do.
